Halal Sandwich Galore at this New Jersey Spot

Stopped in for a quick bite at one of our favorite halal sandwich spots in North Brunswick, NJ called Subs & Beyond (@subsandbeyond.nb)! They not only offer a wide array of sandwiches, but also sides, wings, tacos, and wraps, etc. ALL HALAL.

Roast Beef Cold Sub

Food: 9/10
We got the 14” roast beef cold sub and the 14” beef cheesesteak sub with a side of fries. Both were delicious and filling, but we felt the cheesesteak could’ve used a tad more cheese. We liked how the steak meat itself was flavorful. Roast beef is cut fresh to order and there’s a very good amount on the sandwich. Subs come in two sizes: 7” and 14”. The fries are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and always well-seasoned.

Price: 8/10
A little on the pricy side for a sub but the portions are big and the owner does not skimp on meat.

Atmosphere: 9/10
A cozy sandwich shop with a handful of tables and chairs. They have a tea and coffee station, and an ice cream station. You order and pick up your meal at the counter top.

Service: 8/10
Only the owner was working when we went and he had a few other orders to take care of, so we waited quite a while for our sandwiches. However, he is so nice to talk to and makes each meal beautifully. There’s a level of care he puts into each order for a 1-man show.
