Brand New Halal Cafe in Queens

Little Flower Cafe (@littleflowercafe) is the newly loved halal cafe on the block that is quite probably one of our favorite cafes ever.

They have an humble menu hosting sweet and savory bites along with a full espresso bar.

Hibachi Filet Mignon & Chicken

Food: 10/10
The bites here are phenomenal. The Gochujang chicken sandwich was crispy, juicy, and so tasty. It’s paired with kohlrabi slaw, dill pickles, all on a potato bun. The Soft Scrambled Egg Sammie was also delicious - it was devoured in seconds. Also a very juicy bite. The beef bacon is from @halandalmeats. The Firni doughnut (Firni: sweet rice pudding) is made with Firni custard, glazed, and topped with crushed pistachios in a freshly baked, delicately soft, fluffy doughnut — amazing. Their Iced Cardamom latte was aromatic and creamy (we got it with oat milk) and so was their hot latte (garnished with dried rose petals). Their Blood Orange Hibiscus with added rose syrup is light and refreshing drink. Their Cherry Chocolate cookie is a cookie lovers dream and their Lemon Olive Oil cake is really moist and delicate - so so good.

Price: 9/10
Prices are pretty standard for what cafes normally charge for items. Espresso runs for $3.50 and a Latte doesn’t run up for more than $5.00. The Firni is $5 and the Gochujang sandwich is $12.

Atmosphere: 9/10
It’s not gigantic, but it’s decently medium sized. Can seat about 14 people. Great place to study at, get work done, or chill. The has a woody, but also sleek interior design that makes this place really unique!

Service: 10/10
The people who work here are extremely sweet and kind and the food is made fast.
